What People Say about The Energy Book For Life

The planet needs this book, the knowledge and the solutions in it.

I have read and re-read ‘The Energy Book For Life” a few times now and it is without doubt one of the most empowering, and may I say, ‘energizing’ books I have read! Your book takes the subject of energy – something which most of us take for granted, and explores it to boundaries that few people could imagine would relate to them. The exercises and ‘paper plays’ you incorporate are thought provoking and mind shifting. If only we could have everyone do those exercises, even if they didn’t read the book, they would soon see where their priorities currently lay, and where they needed to be. ... Ray Jamieson, Director of Learning, Executive Mastamind Programme.

This is a book that will appeal to all who are on the path of self knowledge and growth.

‘The Energy Book’ is a practical, easy to follow guide about ways to bring more energy into your life. Joan discusses the factors that energize and de-energize different people. Her book covers topics as diverse as the chemical and physical bases of energy (explained in easy-to-grasp terms), the role in energy levels of health, love, forgiveness, passion, sex and spirituality, the energetic effects that other people have on us, and overcoming addictions such as smoking, overeating and drug taking.

I especially like Joan’s use of ‘Paper Play’, small exercises at the end of each section to help readers assess their energizers and de-energizers, and the many delightful colour photographs throughout the book.

This is a book that will appeal to all who are on the path of self knowledge and growth. I concur with Joan in her philosophy that life should be fun, happy and fulfilling. In keeping with her outlook, the book is positive and upbeat as well as thought provoking.

Your book has made a difference to me.

I finished your ebook. My first one. I found it interesting, informative and entertaining. I am planning to go back and read your reference points.

Your book has made me think more about what energizes me. I especially enjoyed your chapter on the different forms of energy as I am on a bit of a spiritual path at present. I am also thinking about acting on some of my habits that are verging on addiction.
So your book has made a difference to me.

Many thanks for giving me the opportunity of sharing your book, and I wish you well for your next one. ……Jillian Heckler, Brisbane, Australia.

I did truly love your book and found it energizing just reading it.

I loved your book and gained a lot from it. Your ideas, beliefs and suggestions are in line with my beliefs and a few areas I'm currently working on for myself, so I found it incredibly helpful and beneficial.

Thank you for sharing so much of your personal life and experiences. I think this really helps the reader as we know that you're not all talk - you've actually been there; experienced that.

One of the things that I particularly found interesting was the information you provide on the body and how it works, and how difficult chemicals affect us.

I also particularly liked the part where you mentioned the lady you know who used hypno-therapy to help a baby with a brain tumour.

Another part that stuck in my mind was the section on weight loss / gain being more associated with your state of mind.

‘The Energy Book for Life' even surpasses your others...

Your new book, ‘The Energy Book for Life' even surpasses your others. It is inspirational and at times demanding, urging us on to physical, mental and spiritual goals to enhance our way of life in this wonderful world of ours. I do so admire your way of words, leaving the reader in no doubt exactly what is meant and intended, and your research and special quotations by others is amazing. I must say, with the renewed energy comes a feeling of happiness, contentment and peace. With this life force, how could one fall into depression and the accompanying lethargy.

I don't know anyone who has come through life unscathed. We all have our trials and tribulations, but it is how we deal with situations, endeavouring not to ‘allow' oneself to sink to the depths of despair. We may be very down at time, feel there is no light at the end of the tunnel, but the expression ‘Why me?' is so negative and totally unrealistic when we may tune into the wonderful world of ‘Count Your Blessings'.

Of course, choosing people with whom we associate has tremendous importance on our own well-being as you say. In my life I have certainly found some de-energizing, whilst others have the reverse effect – they seem to radiate a form of happiness, leaving one uplifted and with a special glow. These are the ones to whom we look forward to meeting again and again. ...Margaret Cornwall, author.
